Dodfield Horn is a two storey existing 4 bedroom house set in a semi-rural location with excellent views over the Malvern Hill. The dwelling was traditionally constructed in 1954 with a flat roof, large south facing windows and no insulation.


The proposed refurbishment, reorganization and extension of the existing provides an environmentally responsive 5 bedroom dwelling with a thermal performance which exceeds current Part L1A 2006 new build requirements. The dwelling has been designed with high levels of natural daylight, a sealed external fabric with a heat recovery ventilation system, external solar shades to address existing solar heat gain whilst utilizing environmentally friendly materials and finishes which promote wellbeing.
